Sofia was born in Dewsbury and after studying law at Huddersfield, she qualified as a solicitor in 2005. She then went on to complete her Masters in Law at Huddersfield. She joined the firm in 2007.

Sofia is head of the Immigration Department. She deals with a wide range of immigration matters including asylum, deportation, domestic violence settlement visas, EEA National visas, visitor and student visas, family reunion applications, marriage visas and marriage settlement applications. Sofia also advises and deals with all types of work visas including work permits and highly skilled worker visas.

In her spare time, Sofia enjoys travelling, reading and going to the gym.
